PEARL BLOODSTOCK WAS FORMED IN 2010 FOR SHEIKH FAHAD AL THANI FROM THE ROYAL FAMILY OF QATAR.
When David Redvers first met Sheikh Fahad in February 2010 his remit was a simple one. English educated, he was a fan of British racing and he wanted to 'put his toe' into racehorse ownership. If he enjoyed his experience and found it rewarding then he would invest more. He would leave all the decisions on trainers and purchasing to David
as long as a strict budget was kept to. It was the perfect order.
Sheikh Fahad has enjoyed his time so far as a racehorse owner with considerable success achieved. The purchase of Makfi, various yearlings and older horses illustrates his commitment to invest further in both the racing and bloodstock industry.
We are immensely grateful to Sheikh Fahad for entrusting us with this exciting project. We are hugely in his debt for showing such faith in Tweenhills by encouraging his family to invest in Makfi, and we are determined to make Pearl Bloodstock an ongoing and hugely successful story.
