Past Tweenhills stallions on a good run

ASK THE GURU made an impressive winning debut in a 5f maiden at Salisbury yesterday for the sadly deceased Tweenhills' stallion, ISHIGURU.  Trained by Ralph Beckett this two-year-old colt was also bred at Tweenhills Farm & Stud.

As was LASTCHANCELUCAS, winner of two races from two runs to date, and also by ISHIGURU. His latest victory was in the Ripleycollection.com EBF Novice Stakes at York on 16th May for trainer Declan Carroll.  The Woodcote at Epsom or National at Sandown are now possible targets.

Yet another recent two-year-old winner for ISHIGURU was ISHI HONEST, who comfortably won her maiden at Nottingham on 11th May for trainer Mark Usher.  She was also born and raised at Tweenhills for breeder Mrs Audrey Hill.

The past Tweenhills' stallion TRADE FAIR was also represented by a winner at York this week with EASY TERMS victorious in the competitive Jorvik Stakes for trainer Edwin Tuer.

Beautiful Sleeping Indian filly
The SLEEPING INDIAN three-year-old filly, DAM BEAUTIFUL, lived up to her name with a comfortably success in the 5f Conditions Stakes at Hamilton on 6th May, despite being taken off her feet at the start.

Trained by Kevin Ryan, this Stakes placed filly will hopefully target more Stakes races this season for her owner Mrs Lisa Dartnell and breeder Lady Lonsdale.

Another exciting Sleeping Indian filly to follow in the top sprints this year is NIGHT CARNATION, who trainer Andrew Balding reports has done tremendously well physically.

Moonstone Magic at Newbury in Fred Darling
MOONSTONE MAGIC comfortably won the Dubai Duty Free (Gr.3 - Fred Darling Stakes) at Newbury today for trainer Ralph Beckett and owner/breeder Lady Marchwood.

This three-year-old filly is by the former Tweenhills stallion TRADE FAIR, who now stands at Lynward Park Stud in Australia, and is out of the Kyllachy mare, Woodcock Moon.

Moonstone Magic was following up her impressive debut victory just a week earlier at Leicester, and looks an exciting prospect for the season ahead.
