Five stallions stand at Tweenhills offering breeders great value. These include the leading sire in Britain and Ireland in 2007 with 49% winners to runners, Ishiguru. The consistent Gr.2 winner by Indian Ridge, Sleeping Indian, was well supported in his first season at stud; as was the top miler by Zafonic, Trade Fair, whose first foals in 2007 have been well received. The first 2yos by Lucky Story, another top miler standing at Tweenhills, are with some leading trainers in 2008. In addition, Fraam continues to give breeders great returns.
Tweenhills has also been associated with breeding, raising and grazing numerous top class horses, most notably champion filly Flashy Wings.
Tweenhills success is partly down to the nature of the land and partly David's eye for success in potential stallions, broodmares and youngstock. |
