Four stallions stand at Tweenhills offering breeders great value. These include Ishiguru, whose first crop produced three Group winners including a Royal Ascot 2yo. The multiple Group winner by Indian Ridge, Sleeping Indian, was well supported in his first few seasons at stud; as was the top miler, Trade Fair, whose yearlings sold for up to 20 times his stud fee in 2008. Leading British-based first season sire Lucky Story has made an excellent start, with leading 2yo Art Connoisseur and Stakes filly Caranbola.
Tweenhills has also been associated with breeding, raising and grazing numerous top class horses, most notably champion filly Flashy Wings.
Tweenhills success is partly down to the nature of the land and partly David's eye for success in potential stallions, broodmares and youngstock. |
