mares are accepted to the stud subject to the following conditions:
1.
The stud must receive a negative virology report for E.V.A and a
negative C.E.M swab certificate at least two clear days prior to
the mares arrival. The stud reserves the right to retest any mare
it deems to be high risk for C.E.M. The results for both these tests
take approximately seven days to come through from the laboratory.
2.
All mares and foals are to arrive with a serviceable headcollar.
3.
All mares are to arrive with their hind shoes removed. The farrier
will be called at regular intervals whilst the mare and foal are
at stud and costs incurred will be charged.
4.
All mares and foals are wormed monthly. Please ensure that in foal
mares are wormed around four weeks prior to foaling. Mares badly
requiring the horse dentist will be treated.
5.
The stud retains the right to call upon veterinary assistance at
the discretion of the management and all costs will be charged to
the owner directly.
6.
Mares are to be preceded by or arrive with; their passport, a completed
Boarding stud agreement, Acceptance form and Nomination agreement.
All vaccinations will be kept up to date unless we are expressly
requested not to do so.
7.
All fees are subject to V.A.T and no mare will be released until
all outstanding keep fees are paid.
8.
Every care will be taken whilst your mare is in our charge but no
responsibility shall be taken for accident, theft or disease howsoever
caused. Owners accept that liability for all claims, damages, costs,
loss and expense of any kind whatsoever are hereby expressly excluded.
